This salad is a snap to make and looks and tastes very Italian. Cheese tortellini are cooked al dente and tossed with spinach, Parmesan cheese, cherry tomatoes, sliced black olives, and a prepared Italian dressing. Great barbecue salad.
These sumptuous, habit-forming ribs can be mild, to very spicy depending on your taste. My husband and I like things HOT, and the honey, mustard, onion and spices blended together will have you beggin' for more! The ribs have a beautiful presentation and will be well-enjoyed at intimate dinners, as well as backyard barbeques.
Colorful, crunchy and an interesting mingling of flavors. Broccoli florets, crumbled bacon, red and green grapes, raisins, slivered almonds, and a few other tasty morsels, all tossed in a sweetened mayonnaise/vinegar dressing. Serves eight.
A moist not too sweet version of a figgy pudding but made with dates and minus the spices. You could try covering with buttered foil and steaming it for a even moister version. This can also be baked in a (28 ounce) can.
Kaiserschmarrn (meaning 'the emperor's mishmash') is a traditional Austrian dessert. It is a caramelized pancake similar to a Dutch Baby, but made with rum-soaked raisins, eggs. flour, sugar, and butter. The pancake is split into pieces while frying, sprinkled with powdered sugar, and served hot with plum sauce or apple sauce on the side or on top.
